A: No. The A55IR emits a specialized infrared wavelength that is completely invisible to both humans and animals. An incoming coyote or hog will have no idea they are being illuminated, allowing you to track them comfortably while viewing them clearly through your digital or traditional night vision scope.
Q: Why is a 3-position intensity switch important for an infrared hunting light setup?
A: Having adjustable power settings prevents "white-out," which occurs when too much IR light reflects off close ground cover or brush, blinding your night vision screen. Lowering the intensity to medium or low preserves the clarity of close-range shots, while switching to high allows you to reach extreme distances across open country.
