Under ideal conditions, the Red LED produces eye reflection beyond 400+ yards and provides a useful beam distance of approximately 200 yards with quality optics. This allows hunters to detect eye reflection at extended distances before enough light is available for positive animal identification. Actual eye reflection and useful beam distances can vary depending on weather, humidity, terrain, vegetation, battery charge, ambient light, target size, and the quality of the optics being used.
