JavelinaHunter.com J13 Javelina Call w lanyard

The JavelinaHunter.com J13 Javelina Call is explicitly engineered to trigger aggressive defensive instincts in wild javelina. Rigorously field-tested in the harsh Arizona desert against wild, free-ranging herds, this specialized game call for javelina delivers the precise pitch and high-volume resonance required to provoke a reaction. Rather than acting as a standard predator call, the J-13 mirrors the exact sound profile of an injured or trapped herd member. It successfully exploits the peccary's intense pack, herd, and maternal defense mechanisms to draw them rapidly out of heavy cover.

Why the J-13 Javelina Call Outperforms the Competition

  • Desert Field-Tested: Developed, prototyped, and perfected in the southwest deserts on live, free-ranging herds.
  • Instinct-Driven Audio: Produces accurate, high-volume javelina distress calls that force territorial and protective counter-attacks.
  • Total Pitch Control: Ergonomic barrel design makes it simple to manipulate sound depth, pitch, and distress cadence using basic hand-cupping techniques
  • Included Hunting Guide: Comes complete with a bonus 30-page javelina calling and hunting tips pamphlet to maximize your success in the field.

How do you use the JavelinaHunter.com J-13 call to hunt javelina?  The JavelinaHunter.com J13 Javelina Call is operated by blowing from your diaphragm while cupping your hands around the barrel to manipulate air restriction. By altering hand pressure and breath intensity, the call emulates the harsh squeals and grunts of a cornered or wounded piglet. This specialized javelina vocalization call relies on invading their territory or faking a herd emergency to provoke an immediate response from surrounding herd members.

Call did t sound like my last one

I purchase this call because I lost my other one last week while hunting. This one I received sounds more like a dying rabbit compare to my last one. I used it today 3/29/25 and it sure enough called in a coyote. This one just doesn’t sound like a javelina call. Not as satisfied as before

This call is one of the best calls for Javelina. I used this call for Javelina this year ,called them back to me when they busted me. I would recommend this call for a Javelina hunt.

    Javelina call j13

It more frightened the javelina then called them. I know it’s the lower end of calls. I believe the hard plastic lacks the naturalness of the call

    Couldn't have worked better

Got the J13 in the mail 2 days before our most recent javelina hunt. First morning I was out, we glassed up pigs about 1200 yards out and took about a hour and a half to get over to them. We had lost sight of them for more than a half hour before climbing up a bench to get to the flats where they'd previously been hanging out. With no pigs in sight, we decided to blind call knowing the chances would be slim to none that anything was still around, yet alone show up. Not exaggerating, 4 seconds into calling and you could hear woofs coming from the bottom of some rollers about 120 yards out and the herd of more than 20 pigs came charging in to 5 yards. Two shooters were able to get shots off. I'll never hunt javelina again without this call.
