FOXPRO Coyote Howler Diaphragm Mouth Call

Product Overview

The FOXPRO Coyote Howler Diaphragm Mouth Call is designed for predator hunters who want to produce realistic coyote vocalizations without carrying additional calling equipment. Featuring a hands-free diaphragm design, this call allows hunters to create authentic coyote howls, locator calls, challenge howls, interrogation howls, and other vocalizations while keeping both hands available for firearms, optics, or other hunting gear.

Coyote vocalizations are among the most effective tools available for locating coyotes, establishing communication, and triggering territorial responses. Unlike prey distress sounds, howls can provoke reactions from dominant coyotes, breeding pairs, and territorial animals that may not respond to traditional distress calls. The FOXPRO Coyote Howler Diaphragm Mouth Call helps hunters recreate these natural sounds with realism and flexibility.

The diaphragm design gives hunters complete control over pitch, tone, cadence, and emotion. This allows callers to produce a variety of coyote sounds that can be adjusted to match different seasons, hunting pressure, and predator behavior. Whether you're locating coyotes before daylight, challenging a dominant male during breeding season, or adding vocalizations to an electronic calling sequence, this call provides exceptional versatility.

Compact, lightweight, and requiring no batteries or electronics, the FOXPRO Coyote Howler Diaphragm Mouth Call is easy to carry and always ready when opportunity presents itself.

Storage and Maintenance
Caring for your diaphragm calls is very important to maintain ultimate performance. You should tend to your mouth calls all season long. Here are a few tips for prolonging the life of your diaphragm calls.

  • After use, be sure to rinse them with a mouthwash and water mixture or use tap water. Once they have been cleaned, carefully dry them with a towel or paper towel. Insert a toothpick between the top and bottom reeds. Then allow them to air dry for several hours, DO NOT SET THEM IN THE SUN. Once you have left them dry you can then remove the toothpick(s) and place them back in some sort of bag or container. Store them in a cool, dark place afterwards.
  • Heat is a very big problem with mouth calls. If you leave your mouth call out in the sun or in your vehicle this can damage the latex. This will cause the latex to expand and will ultimately affect the sound quality and also lifespan of the mouth call.
