Product Overview
The FOXPRO Cat Diaphragm Mouth Call is designed to help predator hunters create realistic feline distress sounds that can attract bobcats, coyotes, foxes, and other predators. Utilizing a hands-free diaphragm design, this call allows hunters to maintain control of their firearm, operate electronic callers, or manage hunting equipment while continuing to produce convincing sounds in the field.
Bobcats are often drawn to subtle, realistic distress sounds, making sound quality and authenticity critical. The FOXPRO Cat Diaphragm Mouth Call is engineered to reproduce high-pitched distress vocalizations that mimic vulnerable prey and trigger a predator's natural hunting instincts. These sounds can be particularly effective when targeting cautious bobcats that may approach slowly and carefully.
Because the call is operated entirely by mouth, hunters can vary volume, cadence, and emotion to create unique sound sequences that predators may not have previously encountered. This flexibility can be especially valuable in areas with significant hunting pressure where predators have become accustomed to common electronic sounds.
Compact and lightweight, the FOXPRO Cat Diaphragm Mouth Call fits easily into a pocket, vest, or call case and requires no batteries or electronics. Whether used as a standalone predator call or alongside an electronic caller, it provides hunters with another realistic sound source capable of helping close the distance on wary predators.

Storage and Maintenance
Caring for your diaphragm calls is very important to maintain ultimate performance. You should tend to your mouth calls all season long. Here are a few tips for prolonging the life of your diaphragm calls.
- After use, be sure to rinse them with a mouthwash and water mixture or use tap water. Once they have been cleaned, carefully dry them with a towel or paper towel. Insert a toothpick between the top and bottom reeds. Then allow them to air dry for several hours, DO NOT SET THEM IN THE SUN. Once you have left them dry you can then remove the toothpick(s) and place them back in some sort of bag or container. Store them in a cool, dark place afterwards.
- Heat is a very big problem with mouth calls. If you leave your mouth call out in the sun or in your vehicle this can damage the latex. This will cause the latex to expand and will ultimately affect the sound quality and also lifespan of the mouth call.
