Randy Anderson Primos Lil Dog Howler 350

The Randy Anderson Primos Lil' Dog Howler (350) is a highly versatile, multi-functional open-reed predator call engineered in collaboration with legendary coyote hunter Randy Anderson. Designed as a complete vocalization system, this call includes two distinct, interchangeable mouthpieces and a detachable volume-boosting megaphone horn. It gives predator hunters the unique ability to mimic everything from high-pitched juvenile pup distress cries to mature challenge howls with absolute realism.

Why It Outperforms the Competition:
Unlike standard single-purpose howlers that only produce one structural tone or muffle out over long distances, the Lil' Dog features a dual-mouthpiece design paired with a removable megaphone horn. The white mouthpiece is fitted with a thin, highly responsive reed optimized for clear, high-frequency barks, yips, and frantic pup distress whines. The green mouthpiece features a thicker reed profile explicitly tuned to generate deep, guttural lone howls and aggressive interrogation barks. By snapping on the detachable horn, you can drastically boost your sound projection and volume to cut through heavy prairie winds or reach across vast canyons. For close-quarters setups, simply remove the horn to deliver soft, non-threatening whines that coax call-shy coyotes those last critical yards into your lap.

Features:

  • Designed in direct collaboration with predator hunting expert Randy Anderson
  • Includes two interchangeable mouthpieces (white and green) for distinct tonal ranges
  • Detachable megaphone horn amplifies volume and extends your long-range call projection
  • Open-reed configuration prevents moisture freeze and provides infinitely variable pitch control
  • Replicates a full coyote vocabulary, including lone howls, challenge barks, and pup distress cries

Lil' Dog Howler by Randy Anderson

Ok, I was skeptical when it came time to buy this off a friends recommendation. However, I was impressed with the sound and versatility that Randy got out of this on his videos. Upon recieving it and using it the last couple of weeks I have to say this is becoming one of my favorite howlers. The different mouthpieces are actually a nice touch and not only distinctive in the ranges they acheive but the sounds they produce. Would definitely recommend.
