ICOtec recommends that customers avoid using Duracell batteries in our callers. We recommend alkaline 1.5V batteries, Lithium 1.5V batteries or the 14.8V C4 Lithium Rechargeable Power House from ICOtec.
*With direct line-of-sight you should get 80 yards of Bluetooth reception with the game call on the ground and 100 yards if you raise the call at least 2 feet off of the ground.
If you are an owner of the ICOtec Sabre, Night Stalker or Outlaw and are upgrading to one of the new programmable plus series callers, please contact us for your legacy sound files. The legacy sound files consist of all of the previous ICOtec encrypted .gcx files that were available for free from our GCX sound library. We are also including the JDP (JD Piatt) sounds as well as the 50 TT Signature Sounds for your convenience. If you have purchased the previous version of the new plus series callers from icotec.com or if you have purchased elsewhere and registered your product with ICOtec online or with the provided warranty registration card, you are eligible for the legacy sound folders. No. The ICOtec RENEGADE+ PLUS does not include a rechargeable battery pack. The electronic caller requires 10 AA batteries, while the included handheld remote uses one A23 battery. Batteries are not included. Hunters who prefer a rechargeable power source can purchase ICOtec's optional C4 Lithium Rechargeable Power House for the caller. ICOtec recommends using appropriate 1.5-volt alkaline or lithium batteries when powering the unit with AA batteries. This gives hunters the option of using replaceable batteries in the field or upgrading to ICOtec's rechargeable power solution.
No. The ICOtec RENEGADE+ PLUS Programmable Predator Call with Bluetooth does not include a predator decoy. The RENEGADE+ is sold as a standalone programmable electronic caller with its handheld remote rather than as a caller-and-decoy combination. Hunters who want an ICOtec electronic caller with an included motion decoy may want to consider one of ICOtec's dedicated caller and decoy combo models. The RENEGADE+ is designed for hunters who primarily want programmable sounds, strong 130+ dB volume, long-range remote operation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a compact electronic predator calling system.
The ICOtec RENEGADE+ PLUS comes pre-programmed with 30 professional predator and game animal sounds. The included library features numerous coyote vocalizations along with cottontail, jackrabbit, hare, bird, squirrel, fawn, fox, groundhog, mouse, and raccoon distress sounds. Because the RENEGADE+ is programmable, hunters can replace these sounds and customize the 30-sound library using compatible WAV files. ICOtec also recommends the Animal Audio app for Apple and Android devices, where additional professional predator and game calling sounds can be purchased and downloaded for use with compatible ICOtec callers.

The ICOtec RENEGADE+ PLUS Programmable Predator Call with Bluetooth is covered by ICOtec's 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. ICOtec warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and exclusions. Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper handling, unauthorized service, or tampering with the security label is not covered. Hunters should retain their proof of purchase and follow ICOtec's current warranty procedures if service is required.
