Cleaning Open-Reed Predator Calls
Open-reed calls expose the reed and tone board directly to the hunter's lips or teeth. That makes them easy to inspect and easy to damage.
Remove loose grit before wiping the reed. Clean the tone board grooves and reed surface gently. Do not scrape with a hard metal object or bend the reed upward unnecessarily.
