All Orion open reed calls are custom-turned from select green and brown colorwood laminates. The calls have an oil finish, are step-drilled and have my thin wall design that helps produce the clear crisp sounds.
The Orion open reed distress call is capable of producing a wide range of sounds from very raspy jack or fawn bleat to baby cottontail and puppy whines, and even a female howl when needed.
